This dataset contains simulated GATE data both in ASCII and ROOT format. The dataset inhttps://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3522199 was constructed from these source files. Three cylinders of different sizes and activities are used as the sources inside a cylindrical water phantom. The macros which were used to simulate this data are available from https://github.com/villekf/OMEGA/tree/master/exampleGATE Both ROOT and ASCII formats contain the same information, though for ROOT the delayed coincidences are integrated into the same files as the coincidences. The included data are (for both coincidences): event IDs, source position in X-, Y- and Z-directions, time index, volume IDs, number of Compton scatter in phantom, number of Compton scatter in detector, number of Rayleigh scatter in phantom and number of Rayleigh scatter in detector.
