This dataset contains the data and scripts of our paper on the taxonomy of African Rhyssinae. We collected rhyssines by Malaise trapping and hand-netting in tropical forest in Kibale National Park 2014–2015. The dataset contains data on the 456 rhyssines we caught and 13 other African specimens we examined, a table of diagnostic characters, and scripts for generating an identification key and automating the writing of species descriptions. It also contains images used to take measurements of the rhyssines. The specimen data (1 Specimen data) and table of diagnostic characters (Uganda Rhyssinae diagnosis characters.csv) will usually be of the greatest interest.
